From 2013 to 2022, Richard Trigilio published the Father Guido Series, three novels that take place during World War II and its aftermath.  This series features Father Guido Cavalini, a young Italian priest, and the various characters with whom he interacts as they deal with the trauma of wartime life. Father Guido appears in all three novels in this series.

Richard is now writing The Frankie and Bella Mystery Series which features Frankie Mosconi, a young man from an Italian-American family who aspires to be a “private investigator.”  After taking a job with his uncle’s private security company, he teams up with Bella Montoya, a college student from Mexico who is temporarily living in the United States. The first novel in the series was published in June 2022. Two more are scheduled for publication later in the year.

Richard has also published a mini-novel for younger children entitled The Education of Clayton Dalrymple III about a young boy who doesn’t believe in children’s stories. The illustrations in this book were drawn by the author's grandchildren.

Richard Trigilio graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1964.  He spent the next forty years in both military service as a member of the Air National Guard and as a senior level manager at a technical research and development institute. Although Erie, Pennsylvania was his original hometown, he now resides in Montgomery, Alabama, where he spends his time writing and helping other writers get published. Richard is married to Kathy, his wife of fifty-three years.  They have three children and eight grandchildren.

Richard's books are further detailed on other pages in this website.
